Developed for Bernard Matthews Green Energy Limited as part of the Company’s Big Green Plan. This includes the Weston Airfield project adjacent to Bernard Matthews famous headquarters at Great Witchingham Hall. Engena undertook the Environmental Impact Assessments for three sites, producing the accompanying Environmental Statements.

As well as the EIA, our scope of work included the site design, management and co-ordination of the public consultation, appearance at local meetings, management of the entire planning process and support at the public hearing for Weston Airfield. As part of the site designs, it was necessary to consider the existing turkey farm operations and ensure that the schemes integrated into the site infrastructure with minimal disruption.

Notable Achievements

Successful delivery of complex portfolio of schemes for a regionally high profile family business; removal of unlawful Amplitude Modulation condition.
